A new Peanuts feature film was announced in November 2023. Produced by WildBrain Studios and Peanuts Worldwide, the film is slated to release exclusively on Apple TV+. It is directed by Steve Martino, who also directed 2015's The Peanuts Movie, with a script by Karey Kirkpatrick from an original story by Craig Schulz, Bryan Schulz and Cornelius Uliano. Concept art suggests the film will be a spiritual successor to The Peanuts Movie, utilizing a similar art style, though without the involvement of original animation studio Blue Sky, which shuttered in 2021. The movie is set to follow the Peanuts gang on an adventure in the big city. Little information has been revealed about the film since its 2023 announcement, however an October 2025 press release announcing the extension of the Peanuts Worldwide and Apple TV+ partnership to 2030 confirmed the film was still in production.[1]
