MovieTickets.com is a website which was founded in 2000 by the American movie theater chain AMC and the news website Hollywood.com. It is now a joint venture of several large media companies, including Viacom and Time Warner.
The website provides show times for all movie theaters in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Argentina, Aruba, Bermuda, Chile, Curaçao, the Dominican Republic, Grand Cayman, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Spain. It sells tickets online for all movie theaters owned by National Amusements and Clearview Cinemas as well as for some which are owned by smaller chains. The American version of the website is available in both English and Spanish. The Canadian version of the website is available in both English and French.
