Linus and Lucy (The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show)

"Linus and Lucy" is the third episode of The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show. It premiered on October 1, 1983.

"Sally and Snoopy"

Sally does a report on Snoopy and gets an A.

"Football"

Linus tries to teach Sally to kick the football but it runs out of air. Lucy taunts Charlie Brown to kick the football.

"Beads"

Lucy makes "love beads" for Schroeder.

"Love"

Lucy does not know if Schroeder likes her.

"Snowballs"

Schroeder and Charlie Brown throw a snowball at Linus' head but he spins each snowball with his blanket and throws them back. Lucy makes snow bunnies.

"Kite Flying"

Charlie Brown tries to fly paper planes but he is unsuccessful.

"Linus and Lucy"

This is the longest short in the episode and gives the episode its title. Lucy tries to take out Snoopy's and Linus' slivers and makes Linus shower her with compliments before she gives him a piece of toast.

"Baseball"

Lucy thinks she can see the ocean and hits a home run when told by Schroeder that he will kiss her.
Note: Re-used animation and dialogue from "It's Arbor Day, Charlie Brown" is used.

Trivia

• In “Sally and Snoopy” the plot about Sally's report on Snoopy is inspired by the comic strip storyline that originally ran from April through May 1978
• The Football gag sequence from A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving is reused in "Football."
• The June 30, 1963 strip from A Charlie Brown Celebration is redone with new animation and voices.
• The last portion of the "Baseball" sequence was taken from It's Arbor Day, Charlie Brown, with the voices redone.
