Mr. Frick (real name Werner Groebli; April 21, 1915 - April 14, 2008) was a comedy ice skater of the 1940s and 1950s. He was half of the Swiss duo Frick and Frack, which starred in two feature films in 1943/44. Mr. Frick was famous for his “cantilever” move of leaning back on the ice. He is referenced in some Peanuts comic strips from the 1970s and 1980s.
