Sam Jaimes was an American animator, best known for his work on specials based on Charles M. Schulz's comic strip Peanuts. He originally worked for Disney in the late 1950s and Hanna-Barbera during the 1960s, before joining Bill Melendez's staff in 1969. He animated for the Peanuts cartoon specials and movies over the next decade before being promoted to a director, directing several Peanuts specials during the 1980s and 1990s.
