Snoopy at the Dog Show is one of The World of Snoopy books on cassette created by Worlds of Wonder, released in 1986. It is meant to be played through WoW's Talking Snoopy doll, but it can also play in a regular cassette player.
Plot[]
Snoopy receives a letter from the Daisy Hill Puppy Farm inviting him to a reunion. In addition to meeting up with his old puppy friends from the farm, as well as his brother Spike and his sister Belle, there will also be a triathlon and a dog show to participate in. When Charlie Brown tells Lucy about it, she mocks the idea of Snoopy competing in either one because he is out of shape and does not act like a show dog at all. Charlie Brown recruits Peppermint Patty to help Snoopy get in shape for the triathlon, while he goes to the library and gets a book on how to act at a dog show and helps Snoopy practice.
Thanks to the training he gets, Snoopy does very well in the triathlon, getting first in swimming and running and second in the bike riding. He also manages to make it to the finals in the dog show. Charlie Brown urges Snoopy to stand still and not move, but Snoopy is convinced that the judges want to see "razzmatazz" and goes into a wild dance, which gets him disqualified. Spike is named the winner of the dog show.
