The Making of A Charlie Brown Christmas is a 2001 documentary that aired on ABC about the creation of the 1965 special A Charlie Brown Christmas, created to fill out the hour-length time slot the special was given on ABC. It was hosted by Whoopi Goldberg and featured interviews with many of the cast members of the special, as well as Lee Mendelson.

This documentary, curiously, has not accompanied the original special on any video release, instead appearing as a bonus feature on Paramount Home Entertainment's DVD release of I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown in 2004. (A similar documentary, A Christmas Miracle: The Making of A Charlie Brown Christmas, however, appears on Warner Home Video's releases for the special itself.)
