  • Bring Me the Head of Charlie Brown (1986) is an animated short created by Jim Reardon (animator for The Simpsons), which has a rough draft, black and white look to it. • A Charlie Brown Kwanzaa (2002) is a redubbed parody of A Charlie Brown Christmas. The short was put on VHS in 2002 and bootlegged onto millions of tapes in the early 2000s. The short was released on the Internet in the mid 2000s and went viral. The short has been controversial and has been removed off of various websites. The video has been viewed over a hundred million times and is one of the most viewed videos on the Internet. Several sequels have also been made.
  • Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead (2004) is a stage production that follows the Peanuts gang in their high school years, with Charlie Brown (renamed CB) grieving over the death of his dog and questioning everything in his life. The play tackles mature subjects such as drug/alcohol use, suicide, mental illness, bullying, and loss. The names of the characters are cleverly hidden, but as the story continues the audience should get the general idea of who is who. The play has received a positive reception and has won various awards.
