The World Famous Hockey Coach is one of List of Snoopy's alter egos introduced to Peanuts comic strips on October 23, 1994.
A variation on the World Famous Hockey Player alter-ego introduced in 1967, Snoopy is shown heading out, along with Charlie Brown, to the frozen pond often used by him, and other characters, for hockey games.
While Snoopy is holding a hockey stick, he is not there as a player. Instead, Charlie Brown refers to him as "The World Famous Hockey Coach" as they watch Woodstock and several of his bird friends circling the ice on zambonis.
